About Nora
I am a Chess tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students from school to college. Over the years, I have successfully guided 200–250 students, helping them improve their strategic thinking, problem-solving, and game performance. My teaching philosophy focuses on building a strong foundation while encouraging creativity and critical thinking. I use real-life examples, case studies, and interactive exercises to make lessons engaging and practical. I emphasise patience, accountability, and collaboration, ensuring students learn from both successes and mistakes. I tailor each lesson to the student’s skill level and goals, whether they are beginners, intermediate players, or preparing for competitions. My aim is not just to teach moves but to inspire confidence, strategic insight, and a genuine passion for the game.

My chess lessons focus on developing both strategic thinking and practical skills in a supportive environment. I emphasise accountability, ensuring students track their progress and reflect on their games. Collaboration is key, so we analyse moves together, discuss alternatives, and learn from mistakes. Patience is central to my teaching style, helping students build confidence and maintain focus under pressure. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, from beginner to advanced, and aim to develop problem-solving skills, strategic planning, and a deeper understanding of the game.
