About Brent
I am a UK-based musician, producer and content creator, best known for my work with various independent labels, Warner Chappell Publishing and pro-audio brands. I have been teaching guitar and music lessons for over 7+ years and have collectively taught well over 1000 students, from beginner through to university level entry.

While music theory is very important for a musicians development, I don't believe reading music notation is. This is why I prioritise learning music by ear, as it gives you great knowledge and speed when learning a multitude of musical instruments, genres and styles. I like to focus on the technical language of harmony, rhythm and melody and then show how these are implemented in your favourite songs of choice. This helps students understand the importance of basic musical skills such as scales and chords, and then reveals how these can be used to learn songs, riffs, licks, chord progressions, improvisation and much more.
