About Janhavi
I am a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and performer. I have completed my visharad. I have been practicing Bharatnatyam for more than 14yrs and have performed for more than 11yrs.
This classical dance form is so full of elegance and expression that allows you to express so beautifully. It not only looks beautiful but it also helps you develop strength,stamina, endurance, balance and a lot more.
Some of my achievements are as follows:
2021: 2 of my students from Dhruv international school got selected for the T.V round of Super Dancer chapter 4.
2018:semi finalist in Indias got talent season 8.
2018: A main judge for a dance competition in citypride school,nigdi.
2017 :won the first prize in a dance competition at amity global business school.
2017 : won the first prize in Bhartiyam dance competition at Bharti Vidya Peeth.
2016 : performed in Odissi dance production “Urmila” under Aparna Gandhi at Pune International Literary Festival.
2016: performed for “ Manmohini” Swapnil Dagliya’s production
2013: second runners up at Pune Talent Hunt (performed a classical and contemporary fusion dance )
2010: won a fashion show organized by platinum events.
2009: won the best Dancer award at Muktangan English School, Pune.
2008: Finalist at Ishanya Kids Idol Dance competition organized by Entrenouz.
2007: Semifinalist at Pune Kids Idol Dance competition organized by Entrenouz.

My teaching techniques are more student focused and interactive.
My class structure is divided in 3 parts 1st-warm up, 2nd- techniques and steps and 3rd- theory and cool down.
My sessions are designed in such away that the student feels comfortable and at ease while learning which helps them learn and grasp more knowledge.
These classes are for kids(above 4yrs), teenagers and adults.
