About Oli
I've been editing professionally for 5 years and tutoring for 6 years. My students consistently achieve their goals with me, normally reaching top marks from GCSEs to Bachelor's degrees. I have been studying philosophy for 8 years, including A at A Level, a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree from the University of Warwick, and a Master's in philosophy from the University of Oxford.

I typically ask a student to send me a document for me to spend an hour editing (or longer if needed) before sending it back to them, and will also offer to schedule an hour-long 'lesson' to go through the suggested edits with them. For academic editing in Philosophy and English I am happy to give full lessons with substantive rather than simply grammatical commentary. I organise my teaching style around my students' needs, working through problems together and letting the student take the lead when they can.
