About Leah
I am a professional actor, singer, director, voice actor, makeup artist, and theatrical designer with over 15 years of experience in the performing arts world.
I have a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theater from the University of Mobile Alabama School of the Arts and have since directed theater and music with after-school youth programs, college prep schools, and professional theater. I am a working actor and voice actor with credits on Amazon and Audible. When not working in acting, I am a makeup artist and teach makeup online to kids and adults all over the world.

In these online coaching sessions, individual students practice their voice, develop their acting skills, work on audition techniques, and build their confidence and skills for live or filmed performances with a professional actor and singer who has been working in the performing arts for over 15 years! Each coaching session is specifically tailored to the individual student's goals while also taking the time to get to know the student so they feel comfortable and seen.
Singing Coaching: Students get to practice up to three songs during each session! Songs can be any genre and students can be any experience and comfort level. Every coaching session is fun and relaxed and the students get to understand THEIR OWN voice and what works for them when learning to sing! Students will be asked to provide their own music through a phone or iPad or another music source as this works best with online tutoring. Students can also email materials ahead of time.
Voice Acting Coaching: Students get to practice voice acting techniques, learn about mics and making a sound booth, editing software, how to create unique voices or smoothly read dialogue or narration, how to find auditions and the audition process, and more.
Acting Coaching: Students get to specify if they want to learn Theater OR Film Acting techniques in their coaching session! In each session, students will practice scene work, character building, how to break down a script, memorization tips, working with a scene partner, and learn acting techniques from acting masters like Stanislavski, Meisner, Uta Hagen, and more to build their acting skills! Students can bring scripts to class or can choose from scripts provided.
Audition Coaching: Students get to run lines, receive feedback and re-directs on audition material, get direction on how to set up the perfect audition space for self-taped or virtual auditions, tips on how to dress and approach different audition situations, tips and tricks for submissions, how to find an agent and submit yourself as an actor, headshots, resume, reels, voice over submissions, and more!
Theatrical Performance Coaching: Students get to work on a variety of techniques based on their need, such as dance and movement for a role they were cast in, developing confidence and stage presence, creating costumes and makeup looks for a character, running lines, memorization techniques, and more!
