About Ina

I am a professional actor and filmmaker with an international training background spanning South Korea, Japan and the United States.

I studied Performing Arts at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul, trained at United Performers’ Studio in Tokyo, and undertook private acting coaching with Ron Burrus of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in the United States.

My professional experience includes film and theatre in Japan, television presenting and reporting for KBS in South Korea, and acting and filmmaking in the UK. Working both in front of and behind the camera has given me insight into performance, storytelling and the collaboration between actors and directors.

I want to share that experience through practical, supportive lessons that help students discover their own strengths. I value curiosity, careful preparation and the freedom to explore, with an emphasis on believable characters and truthful connections.

About the lesson

My acting lessons focus on truthful performance, character development and confidence in front of the camera. Sessions are tailored to your experience and goals, whether you are new to acting, preparing an audition or exploring a particular scene.

Through practical exercises, script analysis, improvisation and scene work, we explore what your character wants, how to listen and respond, and how to make specific, believable choices. We can also work on monologues and self-tape preparation.

Drawing on my experience as an actor in film and theatre, a former KBS television presenter and a filmmaker, I offer perspectives from both sides of the camera.

My approach is supportive and practical, with clear feedback and opportunities to try different choices. The aim is to help you develop your own interpretation rather than copy a prescribed performance.
