About Noor
Hi, I’m Noor! I attended Ivanhoe Grammar School, where I developed a strong foundation in English and Math and discovered a passion for teaching young students. I specialize in making learning fun, interactive, and tailored to each child’s needs. My tutoring covers Kindergarten to Year 4, focusing on building confidence in reading, writing, and numeracy through worksheets, games, and activities. I believe every child can succeed when given the right support, and I strive to make lessons engaging, enjoyable, and effective for each child. I look forward to helping your child thrive!

Lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, & tailored to each child's individual learning needs. I focus on building a strong foundation in Maths and English for students in Kindergarten & Year 4.
Lessons will include a mix of fun activities, worksheets, games, & interactive exercises that make learning enjoyable while improving the students' skills.
I aim to help students build confidence, develop problem-solving abilities, & create a love for learning. Every lesson is structured to suit the student's pace, ensuring they feel supported & challenged.
Kindergarten / Prep:
English: Alphabet, phonics, basic vocabulary, listening skills, & storytelling.
Other: Following instructions, fine motor skills, & confidence in speaking.
Year 1:
English: Phonics, sight words, simple sentence structure, & basic punctuation.
Reading: Short stories, & comprehension questions.
Year 2:
English: Sentence building, grammar basics, punctuation, & spelling.
Reading: Comprehension, retelling stories, & summarising.
Year 3:
English: Paragraph writing, grammar rules, & spelling strategies.
Reading: Inference, summarising, & fluency.
Year 4
English: Complex sentence structure, grammar, & spelling lists.
Reading: Comprehension, identifying themes & ideas.
