About Angus
My name's Angus. I've been highly passionate about music production, sound design, mixing, composing and live performance from a young age. One of my ongoing personal goals is to continue learning how to create music that sonically reminds me of the musical influences that have had the most effect over me.
I've been producing and composing music as a solo and collaborative artist for the past ten years - collaborating with both producers and vocalists. I have released music as a solo artist through experimental German record label Prrrrrrr Records under the moniker 'Agane'.
I also have experience as a live performer - currently touring both nationally and internationally as a drummer, percussionist and keyboardist - having shared the stage with the likes of The Black Lips, Otoboke Beaver, Pond, RVG, Queens of the Stone Age and more.
My main goal in teaching is to help others learn to create music for themselves! I see sharing ideas about all things music-making with passionate, likeminded individuals as a mutually inspiring practice.

My primary approach to our sessions will be directed by what your goals as a student are! These can shift and change at any time depending upon your desired learning outcomes.
Once we've determined what you're hoping to achieve, my goal is provide a concise step-by-step guide to you - with focus upon providing fundamental knowledge, practical methodologies, insightful resources and tips to improve workflow.
I offer 30-45 minute sessions and 1-1.5 hour sessions, leaving a buffer period of 15-30 minutes to ensure that we won't feel we are disrupting a potentially fruitful or helpful lesson with a strict cutoff.
