About Melody
I am a passionate and driven tutor who genuinely loves both mathematics and teaching. My deep interest in the subject led me to choose Maths at A-Level, which allows me to bring advanced problem-solving skills and fresh academic enthusiasm to my lessons. Alongside academics, I am equally dedicated to music and love teaching the violin. For me, the most rewarding part of tutoring (whether it's breaking down a complex algebraic equation or perfecting a musical technique) is watching my students grow more confident in their own abilities. I aim to create an encouraging, patient space where students feel supported to take on challenges, overcome obstacles, and truly enjoy the learning process.

As a dedicated and patient maths tutor, I offer structured 45-to-60-minute online lessons tailored specifically for Key Stage 3 and early secondary school students (ages 11–14) who want to build confidence or boost their grades. Having successfully taught online violin classes and provided academic tutoring, I excel at breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible steps. My teaching methodology focuses on interactive problem-solving and adaptive techniques, meaning I adjust my pace to match each student’s unique learning style rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. By combining my strong grasp of the UK mathematics curriculum with firsthand experience in virtual instruction, I create a supportive, encouraging, and engaging environment where younger secondary students feel comfortable asking questions and mastering new skills.
