I am high school student. I know C1 level English. I usually teach my relatives. Since I am a student of the International Diploma Program (Ib), I take my classes in English. When I give language lessons, I usually go word-focused. I believe that grammar should also be given, but the most important thing is actually the word. The biggest mistake made in language learning is to study only grammar, that is, grammar. I believe that when explaining the meaning of words to elementary and middle school students, using gamification, it provides permanence. In language learning and teaching, persistence is important, not memorization.
