About Julie

I am deeply passionate about teaching and believe that the best learning experiences occur when students receive personalised, one-on-one attention. Throughout my own academic journey, I’ve found that the most meaningful growth happens when there’s an opportunity for tailored guidance, where the teacher can adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of the student. About the lesson

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Julie and I am a Primary Teacher based just outside Glasgow, Scotland. I have an honours degree in Music and Theatre Studies from the University of Glasgow and a Postgraduate Diploma in Primary Education from the University of Strathclyde. I have over 11 years' experience working with children and young people, including those with Additional Support Needs. I offer fun and engaging sessions for pupils aged 5 to 12 years old and they are catered for individual needs. Sessions can last from 30 minutes to 1 hour and can focus on the following: spelling and phonics; reading; writing (tools for writing as well as creative writing); grammar; maths; and test preparation.
