About Victoria
I have taught in primary school for 17 years (I have a PGCE - Postgraduate Certificate in Education), previous to that, I worked in adult mental health and have a degree in psychology. I understand the importance of a safe and happy environment when it comes to teaching and learning.
I live in rural Northamptonshire and love spending time outdoors in the beautiful English countryside, getting lost amongst the fields and exploring. I am passionate about sustainability and helped my previous school achieve their Green Flag award with distinction.
I have a son in Year 7 so understand the life of a primary school child from both a parent and teacher's perspective.
I love being part of my local community and am part of the local gardening club committee, helping to plan and organise local events.
I am passionate about teaching children and think that every child matters and deserves the right to a comprehensive education.

I teach engaging, differentiated and sequenced lessons. Having taught the whole of the KS2 curriculum, I know exactly the expectations of each year group and in each subject. In particular, I am highly experienced in English, Maths and Science, I have taught Year 6 for 8 years.
My lessons are well-planned and tailored to individual needs, including children with SEN needs.
I find it extremely important to get to know each child and their interests and needs, in order to support them in the best way and always try to plan and teach lessons that are fun whilst helping children to progress in their learning.
Over the 17 years of teaching, I have always had excellent results when it comes to the progress made by the children I teach, as well as a strong and constructive relationship with parents.
