I have 20 years' experience in teaching children from p1-p7 in Scotland. I have experience in helping children with dyslexic-type difficulties and gaps in their learning. I have worked with children with additional support needs throughout my career and I believe that growing the child's self-confidence and self-esteem is paramount in increasing a growth mindset and a belief that they can succeed. I will establish a positive relationship with my learners and help them to reach their potential. I can teach children early reading and writing skills or develop and build on skills they have mastered so far on their learning journey.
