About Theodore
Hi, I’m Theodore. I’ve just completed my A-Levels and am predicted 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Philosophy, with confirmed offers from four Russell Group universities to study Physics. I achieved grade 9s in both Maths and Physics at GCSE and have spent the past year teaching GCSE Further Maths at a local secondary school. I’m passionate about helping students not just reach their target grades, but also feel more confident and curious about the subjects they’re studying. Having recently gone through the GCSE and A-Level process myself, I understand the common challenges students face — and how to explain tricky topics in a way that actually makes sense. With my experience of leading classes, I’ve learned how to break down complex ideas into clear, accessible steps and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. I'm reliable, friendly, and committed to creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I’m an A-Level student predicted A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics, with GCSE grade 9s in Maths and Physics. I’ve received offers from four Russell Group universities to study Physics, and I’ve spent the past year teaching GCSE Further Maths in a local secondary school. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, aiming to build both understanding and confidence. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, intuitive ideas, followed by lots of exam-style practice to solidify them. I emphasise active problem-solving over memorisation, and I encourage students to think aloud and ask questions throughout. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are ideal for GCSE students (including those doing Further Maths) who want to boost their grades, improve exam technique, or deepen their understanding of key topics. Whether you're aiming for a 5 or pushing for a 9, I’ll adapt to your goals and help you get there.
