About Florence
The most rewarding part of teaching for me is seeing students gain confidence in themselves. As an ESL tutor with 7 years of experience, I have taught high school and college students, helping around 150 to 200 learners improve their English.
I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I make my lessons simple, clear, and easy to follow. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills, especially speaking and writing.
I always encourage students to practice regularly and not worry about making mistakes. One of my proudest milestones is seeing students who were once shy become confident speakers. Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication skills.
My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and interactive. My goal is to help students believe in themselves and succeed in their English journey.

I follow a practical and engaging approach to teaching ESL, where students learn through real-life experiences. I use case studies and everyday examples to make lessons easy to understand and relate to. This helps students apply English in their daily lives.
I focus on motivation by encouraging students and helping them stay confident throughout their learning journey. I include problem-solving techniques such as role-plays, discussions, and real-world tasks to improve communication skills. I believe in integrity, so I provide honest and clear feedback to support improvement.
I also use flexibility in my teaching by adapting lessons based on each student’s learning pace and needs. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills for complete language development.
