I have taught about a class of 30-35 students (in a school, in India) through practical teaching and interesting theatre techniques like role play, interacting with all the students, loud reading, dialogue delivery, etc., all done by students in the class, voluntarily. This helped them to boost their confidence and in their speech, too.
In tuitions, I usually take 50-55 minutes per lesson, depending on the child's interest. When they are low in energy, then I may take 40-45 minutes class, doing something interesting and fruitful.
I have taught students from 6 to 18 years old students, successfully in India in various schools and in tuitions, during these 15+ years of my experience.
