About Niroshehaa
Growing up I felt torn between my love for the sciences and my love for the arts. After years of going back and forth, I settled on pursuing a career in engineering, thinking I had left all chances of a career in the arts behind. However, I realised I just didn't like spending hours a day alone in a cold lab. At the time, a family friend approached me about coaching their child for a LAMDA exam. I started off doing it for a sense of fulfilment, but eventually I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue teaching performing arts as a full time career.
I draw on the technical writing, research and critical thinking skills I attained through my science career, and my knowledge of embodiment and expression attained through my dance training (and so on) to enhance my Speech and Drama teaching practice.

Following the completion of my post graduate degree in engineering, I decided to pursue a career change. I have been teaching speech and drama since 2017. I currently offer online, one-to-one speech and drama lessons. Using the LAMDA exams as a frame work, I teach students transferable skills in performance and communication. I am also a published writer, and professional Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher.
