About Thamis
I have a degree in Portuguese Language and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. Since 2014, I’ve been teaching Portuguese as a foreign language — this is my main area of teaching, research, and study. From 2021 to 2025, I worked as a Portuguese language and Brazilian culture professor at a university in Tokyo, teaching Japanese students.
