About Yumna
I am a first year student at University College London. I study Politics and Sociology. I am a very fun, energetic, and understanding individual. I love tutoring for two reasons. Firstly, it allows me to remind myself of the knowledge I gained when I was studying for my GCSE's. But secondly, and most importantly, I really enjoy helping others in academia and being able to assist young people in their worries about the future. It was not too long ago that I was in the same position as students of GCSE, so I remember how important of a time in my life it was, hence I know just how important it is to have a helping hand in studying.

I am an energetic and interactive tutor. I ensure that my lessons are heavily based on communication, where students feel comfortable to express any concerns they may have about their work. I build professional friendships with my students! I follow exam board specifications and the curriculum to ensure that I am in line with the work the students do at school. I typically run one/two hour sessions per student depending on the subject they've chosen.
I have achieved all A's in my A-level's in the subjects of: History, Politics, and Philosophy. I have three years experience as an English, Maths, and History tutor.
I tutor students ages 5-16, of all levels.
