About Alba
I am half Spanish and originally grew up in Spain until I got sent to boarding school at the age of 12. I initially really struggled with the English educational system academically and I want to be able to offer support for students needing help.
I eventually hired a tutor myself to help me get through my A levels and GCSE exams, and I am now a student at one of the best universities in the UK.
I want to aim to help students achieve their full potential, in a professional and calm environment through one to one sessions.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they need support with grammar, vocabulary, speaking or exam technique. I focus on making Spanish clear, practical and engaging while building confidence alongside exam skills. Lessons are typically 1 hour and are aimed at GCSE/IGCSE students. Before graduating, I was Head of House in my boarding house, where I supported and mentored younger students. I also helped several Year 11 students prepare for their GCSE Spanish exams, supporting them with grammar, vocabulary, speaking and exam technique. Some students I supported progressed from working at around Grade 3 to achieving Grades 7 and 8 in their final GCSE exams.
