About Heidi
With 9 years of experience as a piano tutor, I am dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their musical goals. My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s unique needs, whether they are just starting out or looking to refine their skills. I specialize in classical, jazz, and improvisation, offering a well-rounded curriculum that fosters both technical proficiency and creative expression. My lessons are designed to be engaging and supportive, ensuring that students feel confident and inspired as they progress.
Outside of teaching, my passion for music extends into my personal life. I am constantly exploring new pieces and styles, which helps me stay current with trends and techniques in piano music. This continuous learning not only enriches my own playing but also enhances the lessons I offer to my students. I enjoy attending concerts and workshops, which provide fresh insights and inspiration that I bring into my teaching practice.
In addition to my musical pursuits, I have a variety of hobbies that complement my artistic interests. I love hiking and find that time spent in nature often sparks new ideas for compositions and practice routines. Photography is another passion of mine, allowing me to capture the beauty of the world and draw inspiration from it. I also enjoy experimenting with different cuisines, which adds a creative dimension to my life. These hobbies help me maintain a balanced and enriched perspective, which I bring to my teaching, making each lesson a rewarding experience for my students.
