About Aubree
Beginners often struggle with the bridge between notes and soul. I have guided 178 students through that exact space. My teaching comes from a deep history with the bolero and son cubano traditions.

Keys under your fingers should feel like an extension of your own breath. I approach the instrument by focusing on the relationship between rhythm and the natural phrasing of the music I grew up with.
Having spent 13 years performing Latin jazz and salsa, I bring a unique perspective to dynamics and improvisation. We work on the foundational scales and pedalling technique needed to make your classical repertoire sing. My background as a gigging musician informs how we structure your journey through theory and contemporary styles.
