About Chong
Hi, my name is Chong Shi Jie. I am a passionate and dedicated piano teacher with over 14 years of experience. I began learning piano at the age of 5 and have since obtained the LTCL and ATCL diplomas from Trinity College London, as well as ABRSM Grade 8 in both Theory and Practical. I have taught students of all ages, from young beginners to diploma-level candidates. Having worked full-time with reputable music schools in Singapore and taught privately for many years, I always strive to provide structured, inspiring, and enjoyable lessons. I believe in building strong fundamentals while nurturing each student’s musicality and confidence.

I provide one-to-one piano lessons tailored to each student’s pace and learning style.
My teaching combines technical foundation, ear training, and musical expression.
Each lesson lasts 45 to 60 minutes.
I hold an LTCL Diploma and have over 14 years of teaching experience.
I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams (Grade 1 to Diploma)
and also teach pop piano for leisure learning.
Lessons are suitable for children (age 5+), teenagers, and adults —
from complete beginners to advanced diploma level.
My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music,
while helping students build strong skills and confidence in playing.
