About Pete
I have been giving lessons for over 10 years, and playing professionally for even longer. I have taught hundreds of students from young to old, beginner to advanced. Many go on to perform in student recitals, some even take the Royal Conservatory Exam.

I start with a breakdown of the piano keyboard, starting with one note at a time and going from there. I also try to push reading notation as much as possible, although some ear training is important too. TIMING is equally important, so I try to spend an equal amount of time on RHYTHM.
