About Olivia
I have an undergraduate degree in Visual Arts, Music and French. My graduate degree is in interdisciplinary design. I received lessons for 10 years, and enjoy playing at a NYSSMA level of 6. I have taught mostly beginner students between the ages of 5 and 12, so I really enjoy giving students a start to piano.

My teaching methods are mostly focused on how to keep students captivated with piano. Some students I've gotten to compose music while practicing through lessons, to students who prefer playing and learning pop or jazz tunes rather than classical works. I am very comfortable and familiar with the Suzuki method, but I always enjoy improvising during my lessons.
