About JESSICA
I am a concert pianist with over 15 years of experience performing and teaching, committed to helping students discover the joy and discipline of music. My journey began at a young age, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse students, guiding them from their very first notes to advanced performance pieces. I earned my formal training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – Herb Alpert School of Music, where I studied piano performance and music theory in depth. This world-class education gave me not only technical mastery but also a strong foundation in the artistry, discipline, and creativity needed to excel as a musician. I bring this same level of dedication and professionalism into every lesson I teach. Each lesson blends practical piano technique with music theory, ensuring students not only play well but also understand the language of music. We work on proper posture, finger strength, musical phrasing, and expressive performance, while also exploring rhythm, harmony, and composition. This combination helps students build a strong foundation and the confidence to perform with artistry.
