About Siqian
I am a concert pianist, graduated from the Royal College of Music with the Artist Diploma (the highest level of performing programs). I have been giving private piano lessons regularly for years to the students in all ages who wish to improve to a higher level. I have often been invited to give masterclasses by various prestigious institutions and organisations including the all Steinway public school Rossall School and Yamaha Music.
I have won numerous prizes in the piano competitions worldwide, and with my experiences performing internationally over 15 years, I teach students from a performer's perspective. Besides laying a solid foundation for piano techniques, I also help the students build up connection with music and encourage them to express through their playing, so that they could gain valuable musical experience.
I teach in either English or Chinese, the lesson usually takes place at my home on a grand piano or online.
