About Jenny
Technical mastery relies on mastery of rhythm, sight playing, and precise hand independence. These skills define my practice as a conservatory trained teacher. My MMus from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University informs my deep focus on ear training, scales, and music theory.
I integrate ABRSM and Trinity exam prep to structure progress. Jazz improvisation remains a core interest of mine. Working from my San Francisco studio, I guide students aged 6 through adult. Music has been my primary pursuit since I was 7 years old.

Bad posture and hand shapes often mask the true root of slow progress. Correcting these foundations is essential.
Through my 13 years of experience, I rewire how students approach the keyboard from the ground up. I emphasize ergonomic movement and focused listening techniques.
Consistency is key. My lessons ensure that every physical habit aligns with the demands of the music. I find real joy in seeing students regain control over their own sound.
