About Barbara
I have been a teacher, composer, and performer for many years. I have never lost a student. I just like to be up to date on new music, but I also like to include classical music. I play many instruments, have many degrees, and have had been a soloist, accompanist, orgnist, bass player and guitar player at various times. Music is my life, my soul, and my universe!

I have a doctorate in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, but I now live in Forest Lake, Minnesota. I use a very good technique method, Hanon, which students love, and tailor my lesson to include various types of music to help the students maintain their interest. I teach all styles and am open to anything the student is interested in learning if the music translates well into a piano piece format. I appreciate a great deal of the modern music.
