Gary and I met several years ago and I started taking lessons for organ and piano when he announced some availability Facebook. He is patient, knowledgeable, and flexible enough to challenge a student of any level. I would recommend Gary to anyone from a beginner to an experienced musician.

I’ve been taking lessons from Gary for a few months now and I’m super thrilled with my progress! Playing the piano is something I’ve wanted to do my whole life and now that I’m retired, I can finally focus on this. Gary is a fantastic teacher—patient, understanding and sets a relaxing atmosphere that’s conducive to the learning process. He answers all my questions and allows me the freedom to work at my own pace. I also enjoy playing with Winston, his pug, making our weekly visits very pleasant!! I highly recommend taking lessons with Gary!

My daughters and I have been taking piano lessons with Gary Marks for close to a year and a half. He has been a great teacher. Always patient with my daughters and always having a good mix of technique and interesting pieces for us to practice. The lessons are well organized and he keeps all of us focused and productive. He also keeps a lesson journal which is very helpful with practicing. I would highly recommend him as a piano teacher for both adults and children.

I am very fortunate to have found Gary Marks for a piano instructor. I have been learning from him for 2 years and have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson! He is very patient and If I’m having a little difficulty on a certain lesson he is always willing to help me understand and to make sure I’m ready to continue the lesson.
