About Faith
I am a piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a Master’s in Piano Performance. My journey in music began at a young age and gradually developed into a passion for teaching. Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages and levels, helping them build strong piano skills while growing in confidence. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable, structured, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and clear. I focus on breaking down each concept into simple steps so students can understand and improve without feeling overwhelmed. I use structured practice, practical guidance, and encouraging feedback to support progress. I also adjust lessons to match each learner’s pace and goals, ensuring they feel comfortable and motivated throughout their journey. Helping students build both musical skill and confidence is always my priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring different piano styles and continuing to develop my own musicianship. This allows me to bring fresh ideas and creativity into my lessons. I feel deeply rewarded when students gain confidence and begin to enjoy their playing. Supporting their progress and helping them develop a strong connection with music is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, encouragement, and care.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build a strong musical foundation while enjoying every step of the learning process. I begin with essential skills such as finger independence, note reading, hand coordination, and rhythm practice. These early lessons are structured carefully so students can develop comfort and confidence with the keyboard. I use simple exercises and practical examples that make each new concept easy to understand. This approach helps learners feel steady and motivated from the start.
As students progress, I introduce more advanced techniques such as scales, chord patterns, dynamics, and expressive phrasing. We work on improving coordination between both hands, strengthening rhythm control, and understanding how to shape musical ideas. I guide learners through pieces that match their level while helping them build confidence and musical awareness. Each lesson includes feedback and encouragement so progress feels clear and achievable. This balanced approach helps learners grow in both skill and confidence.
With regular practice, students begin to play with stronger control, better musical understanding, and more confidence. They learn how to express emotion through music and enjoy the creative side of piano playing. My lessons create a positive and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable exploring their abilities. Over time, students often become more independent, expressive, and motivated, developing both technical skill and a deeper love for music.
