About Gabriel
I have been teaching for over a decade. I have had beginner students as young as four and as old as seventy-eight. I taught piano and music theory at a well-respected university music program in NYC and continue to give private lessons to students at varying skill levels. I focus on classical repertoire including contemporary works.

My greatest mission is to teach you how to listen — to yourself and to others. The more deeply you listen, the more deeply you can learn. Each student requires a tailored approach, but something that is unchanging is the focus on the foundation of music: the sound. I endeavor to build musicians who seek a quality of sound, an ease of execution, and a thoughtful ear so that they might produce the music that best captures their world.
