About Daisy
In my Physics lessons, we dive into the fascinating principles of energy and how it shapes the world around us. I use a systematic and clear approach to explain topics like thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, and gas laws. My lessons are designed to make these complex ideas easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. We’ll uncover how energy flows through everyday systems, from boiling water to engines and the atmosphere. To make learning engaging, I use simple analogies and practical examples that connect theory to real life. You’ll see how abstract concepts become meaningful when applied to familiar situations. I focus on helping you build a solid foundation for understanding energy transformations and their importance in science and technology. My method includes regular feedback to guide you step by step, ensuring you’re always improving. I encourage questions, discussions, and creative thinking to strengthen your grasp of the material. With my support, you’ll gain confidence and clarity in mastering these core principles. Together, we’ll transform complex theories into a clear, tangible understanding that you can apply anywhere.

I am a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and an MSc in Medical Physics, deeply passionate about the fascinating world of materials. My expertise lies at the intersection of physics and materials science, focusing on crystal defects, phase transitions, and how these microscopic phenomena shape the properties of engineered materials. Over the years, I’ve guided university students and researchers seeking to uncover the hidden physics behind real-world materials.
I specialize in teaching crystal defects, grain boundaries, diffusion processes, and phase diagrams — with a particular emphasis on examples like steel. My approach combines clear visual examples, intuitive analogies, and real-world applications that bring abstract concepts to life. Whether explaining dislocations in metals or the significance of eutectic points in phase diagrams, I tailor my lessons to your level and goals.
I’ve worked with students across high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels, as well as researchers entering the field of material characterization. My lessons emphasize not just memorizing facts, but understanding how microstructure influences macroscopic material behavior. I make use of diagrams, animations, and examples from everyday materials to help you connect theory to practice.
