About Tanner
Not only am I a self-prescribed nerd, I also have close to 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have formal experience tutoring a variety of STEM subjects (geometry, algebra I & II, AP Physics, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, Earth Science) and am a geophysics PhD student. Along with my experience, I genuinely enjoy helping students and am motivated by their excitement when connections and progress are made.

Typically students bring their own material to the lesson in the form of questions, homework assignments, study guides, anything you might need help with. I am often helping students prepare for the AP exams in the spring. However, if you are looking for supplementary material or more curriculum or lecture based we can certainly do that as well.
My tutoring style promotes the critical thinking and problem solving strategies required to independently work through problems, and helps students feel confident in their answers outside of tutoring sessions.
Sessions would take place online all you need is a computer with an internet connection and video conferencing software such as zoom or Google meet.
