About Myra
I am a physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and hold a BSc in Theoretical Physics. I specialize in the physics of sound and music, helping students explore acoustics, resonance, and sound production. I am passionate about teaching musical scales, instrument design, and the principles behind every note we hear. I use audio experiments and wave visualizations to make abstract concepts tangible and engaging. Students can see and hear how vibrations, harmonics, and resonance shape the sounds around us. My lessons connect physics theory directly to the art of music, showing how science influences tone, timbre, and instrument behavior. I work with learners who are curious about both physics and music, helping them develop analytical thinking alongside creative exploration. I encourage hands-on experiments, discussions, and interactive exercises to deepen understanding. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether academic or curiosity-driven. By combining theory with practice, I help students appreciate the underlying science behind musical expression. Together, we uncover how physics explains the beauty and complexity of sound. Join me to explore the fascinating science behind your favorite melodies and sounds.

My teaching approach in physics focuses on clarity, practice, and exam readiness. I guide students through key AP Physics topics, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and electromagnetism, ensuring solid conceptual understanding.
I emphasize problem-solving techniques, helping learners tackle different types of questions efficiently. Each lesson includes targeted drills and practice tests to reinforce learning and build confidence. I also provide strategies for time management and question analysis during exams.
For students aiming for high scores, I offer step-by-step guidance, review tricky concepts, and highlight common pitfalls to avoid. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and goals, ensuring steady progress and mastery of the material.
I encourage active participation, discussion, and reflection to deepen comprehension and analytical thinking. By combining theory with practice, I help students strengthen reasoning skills and develop exam confidence. Together, we work to maximize performance and achieve success on AP Physics tests.
