I like to start my lessons by getting an idea of my students' strengths and weaknesses. This allows me to tailor my lessons appropriately. We will then dive in with a couple of basic practice problems to either build confidence or lay down foundations. From there, we will practice a bit more, then build more advanced concepts when the basics are grasped.
