About Simon
I am a Physicist by training (MSc, BA from U. Cambridge), and have tutored for over 300 hours with around 20 long term students. I enjoy teaching, and have been involved in outreach for my university. My research centers around understanding the hazards posed by tropical cyclones in the future using a variety of mathematical models.

I believe in the flipped classroom method of teaching where information is best learnt through the student doing problems or completing a project, where the role of the tutor is to go in, mark the work, and clear up confusions during the tutorial.
