About Soha

Hello! I’m Soha, a certified architect with over 4 years of professional experience in design and visualization. Alongside my architectural practice, I specialize in teaching Photoshop and sheet presentation techniques tailored for architecture students.

My passion lies in helping aspiring architects transform their ideas into powerful visual stories. From digital rendering and concept boards to portfolio design, I guide students through industry-relevant workflows that elevate their presentations and make their projects stand out.

My Teaching Approach:
Hands-on learning through real project examples

Creative workflows that balance design and technical precision

Professional tips to build confidence in digital presentation skills

About the lesson

1. Workflow Integration
- Teach how Photoshop fits into the larger architectural workflow (from AutoCAD drawings to SketchUp models, then Photoshop for presentation).
- Show students how to streamline their process so they save time while achieving professional results.

2. Design Storytelling
- Emphasize how every sheet should tell a clear design story.
- Guide students in arranging visuals, text, and diagrams so their boards communicate intent without needing lengthy explanations.

3. Layered Learning
- Start with fundamentals (layers, masks, brushes).
- Progress to advanced techniques (rendering materials, adding entourage, lighting effects).
- Ensure each class builds on the previous one with practical exercises.

Critique & Feedback
- Encourage peer reviews and group critiques to simulate studio culture.
- Teach students how to give and receive constructive feedback, improving both design and presentation skills.
