About Élias-Mikael
I am currently a third year student at University of Ottawa, in the Honours Bachelor of Arts program. I major in Philosophy and minor in Medieval Studies, but in the past I've studied finance, economics and mathematics. I also freelance as a writer and editor in both English and French, as I enjoy helping people put their thoughts, ideas and feelings into the perfect word, paragraph, or story.
My passion for learning is something I hope to inspire in others - or at least make the daily grind at school or university more bearable. As someone who has struggled their entire life with ADHD and autism, I aim to make my lessons adaptable and accessible, and enjoy working with others who are also looking for advice, strategies and education that works for them, instead of against them.

My lessons are tailored to your level - from high school to undergraduate level (for academic writing and language), or simply to improve your grammar, spelling, vocabulary and confidence (any level, any age).
I adapt lessons to your individual needs. My background includes being a TA, as well as working with children and teenagers with ADHD and dyslexia. Lessons are structured based on what you want to improve, but are always flexible to help you work on areas needing improvement, without labouring over what you grasp more easily.
