About Claire
I am a student having recently graduated from the university of SOAS, previously known as the School of Oriental and African studies. I am half french and english- having been a welfare contact and president of the mental health society at SOAS for a year, I am well aware of the concerns of modern student life. I have a complex and deep understanding of history, art, philosophy and literature. I am passionate about music, drawing and learning from others just as I am for teaching them.

I am the ideal candidate if you would like someone who has an original, interdisciplinary perspective and if you would like to be encouraged to think outside the box- especially if you want to improve your critical thinking skills and ability to think independently. I endorse holistic learning skills and this is why I believe it is essential to teach "real-life" skills (such as ways to cope with stress or getting prepared for university) to students in parallel to what they are expected to learn. I am hugely focused on discussion based and kinesthetic learning activities but I am flexible to the students needs and if warned in advance I am willing to prepare my lessons to the specific needs of the said individual.
