About Oliver
I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy, Kingston University London. I have published articles on German Idealism, materialism, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and political theory. I have 5+ years of teaching experience and have taught students in undergraduate the History of philosophy. Ancient Greek philosophy (Plato and Aristotle), Humean scepticism, Spinoza, Nietzsche, and Hegel. In 2016 I taught a 3-hour seminar on Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit at University of Oxford.

While I have mainly taught university-level philosophy, I am able to cater to GCE A Level students as well. I teach my encouraging students to get familiar with the main texts and instil critical thinking skills by asking them challenging and interesting questions.
