About Lauren
I am a PhD student. Currently writing a thesis on Early Modern philosophy. I have been tutoring privately for about 6 years - and I really enjoy it! Over the last 6 years, I have taught over ten students individually. They have gone on to receive excellent grades in the subject, as well as school-awarded certificates and prizes.

In many cases, I have found that students struggle the most when their confidence is low. Providing that confidence boost can go a long way - so creating a positive environment within which my students feel relaxed and able to ask questions is key.
I have mostly taught one or two students at a time. In this setting, it is possible to cater for the needs of individuals - focussing on areas where the student needs the most help.
I am available for help with work assigned (from school/college/university), but equally happy to provide my own materials.
