About Adam
I achieved an A* grade at A-Level with 100 UMS (Uniform Mark Scheme) in Philosophy, before studying Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Exeter, where I gained a First Class Honours bachelor's degree. Throughout this time I tutored A-Level and undergraduate Philosophy students, firstly as a peer mentor at A-Level, then as a personal tutor during my degree. Since graduating I have worked in technology and consulting in the City of London for 3 years.

I believe studying philosophy should teach students to think like a philosopher, rather than just teaching previous philosophical thought. My lessons offer a combination of both, ensuring students have a firm understanding of the philosophical concepts they are studying, before testing these concepts through debate. I also teach students to understand the mark schemes they will be graded on, to ensure top results. Lessons will be online and 1 hour long.
