About Timothy
Former teacher and curriculum director for a K-8 private school. I have also worked in a college Academic Excellence center as a writing tutor and tutored privately for students ranging from elementary school to the collegiate level. The majority of tutored students achieved 90% or better on writing assignments when advised on specific assignments and saw at least a full point GPA increase (ex 2.0-3.0) when tutored on the general subject.

My teaching method is tailored around how a student learns best. I prefer to teach students to understand the methods and skills necessary to eventually produce quality work independently of my tutoring. Teach a person to fish and they can eat for a lifetime...the same applies to academic skill. I am also more than willing to help with individual assignments to proofread and edit for grammar, spelling, content and overall flow of the paper.
