About Steven
My interest and love of physics goes back to my childhood and I have a Bachelor of Arts and a PhD in it. I have had a long career working in many fields including astrophysics, sonar, metamaterials, ultrasound, infrasound and nanotechnology. One reason I have been this flexible is that I can quickly grasp the essential physics that underlies all these technologies. I always try to focus on these essentials when teaching.

Try to get to the essence of topics in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hope to go beyond just learning to impart an intellectual appreciation of the remarkable concepts in physics by consideration of their philosophical implications, their applications to everyday life, and everything in between.
