About Igor
I am a social scientist and educator working at top UK universities, including the University of Birmingham and the London School of Economics. I hold a PhD in Public Administration.
I have taught and supervised students across various economic and policy disciplines: public sector economics, health and social care policy and economics, quantitative methods in economics, and institutional economics. My modules were voted the best courses by students on multiple occasions.
I enjoy helping students to improve their understanding and confidence in subjects that at first glance seem uneasy to master.

I offer online lessons in economics, microeconomics, econometrics, political economy, public policy, and qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as dissertation and academic writing support for undergraduate and postgraduate students. My lessons are tailored to the student's needs and goals. I explain complex concepts and methods in simple terms (including real-world examples), progressing from the basic to more advanced topics at a pace that suits each individual. During the lessons, I support students with immediate tasks and help to develop and strengthen independent skills and knowledge.
I have experience in university teaching and research. I taught at the London School of Economics and the University of Birmingham. My academic background spans applied research in public sector economics, health, and social policy. This enables me to help students develop subject knowledge, analytical thinking, and understanding of real-world policy and economic issues, whilst taking into account the university's practical requirements.
My lessons usually last 60 minutes. Longer sessions can be arranged if necessary.
