About Darius
I am a PhD student in Philosophy at Macquarie University, but I was born and raised in the UK, where I attended Oxford and then UCL. I have been extremely fortunate with the education that I have received, and I enjoy tutoring in part because it constitutes an opportunity for me to pass on the skills and knowledge that I have been lucky to acquire.

I emphasise a student-centered approach in my English tutoring, tailoring each hour-long lesson to the student's individual needs and learning style. This involves the integration of both conceptual understanding and practical application, ensuring students grasp the material deeply. Furthermore, I help students improve their writing and comprehension with structured practice and constructive feedback. I teach across all ages and have done so for the last 10 years, helping over 40 clients do the best they can at school and in exams.
