About Anthony
I am currently a PhD Cultural Studies Candidate at Queen’s University who incorporates composition and performance in their research. I have three years of experience as a private music lesson teacher. One of my students was recently admitted to NYU’s film scoring program, while another received a mark of 85% on their Level 1 RCM exam. I am also a Teaching Assistant at Queen’s University, where I lead a tutorial in a first year music course.

Most importantly, I believe in giving lots of encouragement to students. I create a positive and safe learning environment and tailor lessons and repertoire to match the student’s goals. I am comfortable teaching in a variety of genres from classical to jazz to pop.
