About Phoebe
I am a PhD student passionate about Neuroscience, particularly brain imaging research! During the pandemic I was looking for a way I could volunteer my time and I started working as a volunteer tutor with the Access Project. It was through that experience that I found I really enjoyed teaching and connecting with students. I am hoping to meet and provide assistance to new students now that are working to better understand concepts in Biology. I consider myself a friendly person who can easily adapt teaching and learning styles to each individual student.

I have been a volunteer GCSE and A level Biology tutor for 2 years with the Access Project. My lessons are 30 minutes to 1 hour in length once a week, or as-needed. I like to start with a short review of the previous weeks' lesson and an activity at the end of the lesson.
