About Fionn
Much of my desire to tutor stems from the belief that while both the second/third level education systems are not broken, these systems cannot (due to individual human nature, learning styles and speeds) accommodate every student to the same level. Therefore, often times, students fall behind and stay behind, despite their best efforts - I was one of those students!
Add to this, I believed that the difference between top and bottom of the class was due to the former group being blessed with "genius" status. Statistically speaking, geniuses do exist - but not to this extent. In short, by finding both the confidence and work ethic required, any average student may find themselves at the top of the class.

I am currently completing a PhD in economic and econometric modelling, and hold a MSc. in Economic, Banking and Finance, while my Bachelors degree is in Economics and Finance.
I am new to tutoring, but as I approach 7-years of studying Economics/Finance based subjects, I am comfortable that I have the experience and qualifications to tutor and part with some of my knowledge to give a helping hand.
My promise is that I will be flexible in my tutoring approach; full course revision, selected topics or lectures, and assignment assistance can all be accommodated. While I will make myself available to you for any questions you might have outside of tutoring hours.
Naturally, a comprehensive approach to tutoring should be considered in order to achieve highest level of performance. However, a tailored approach is equally important.
